Man jailed after sexually assaulting girl

A MAN who sexually assaulted a girl has been jailed.

Martin Bordoli, 64, of Amington, was sentenced to six years and four months behind bars at Stafford Crown Court on 30th January.

He had admitted the sexual assault of a girl in 2024 at an earlier hearing.

Bordoli has also been served with an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order and put on the Sex Offenders Register for life.

Detective Constable Tara Field, from Staffordshire Police's child protection team, said: "Despite Bordoli originally refusing to confront the reality of what happened, we were able to build the evidence needed to ensure he wasn’t able to escape his crimes in court."
